Some of these centers may include books, pretend play, block play, puzzles, sand and water play, science activities, math activities, and easel painting.</div> <bR> <div> <U>Art</U> - Art time provides opportunities for creativity and self-expression, as well as fun tools for reinforcing color, shapes, and size relationships.</div> <bR> <div> <U>Circle Time</U> - This is a time when we come together as a group. We engage in thematic activities, calendar, stories, songs, and fingerplay.</div> <bR> <div> <U>Small Group Instruction</U> - Children engage in activities such as alphabet recognition, counting, cutting, patterning, printing their names, and more. This is also a time when we can individualize instruction to meet the needs of each child.</div> <bR> <div> <U>Outside Play</U> - If weather permits, the children will go outside to play. Children use their muscles as well as their imaginations as they engage in fun, healthy exercises such as running and jumping.</div> <bR> <div> Activities may vary from day to day or last several days depending on the children's interest level.
